Thanks for providing the information. I'm thoroughly perplexed and have no idea what's going on. I've asked for some help from other Archive folks, hopefully they'll have a chance to look at it soon.

What FTP client are you using? Are you willing to try another? And then report results? I really appreciate your debugging.

I'm using SmartFTP. Passive mode doesn't seem to be the culprit - it happens both ways.

I uploaded 2 shows Tuesday night and Wednesday with absolutely no trouble, so I'm pretty sure it's not an issue on my client side, but I'll keep looking into it.

If you could, just for the sake of my sanity, try another client. Clearly, even if the problem is unique to SmartFTP, we'll try to fix it. It's something new which means that the list of possible reasons is probably limited. Thanks so much for helping.

I resumed my upload *again* for about the 10th time last night and voila! This morning it was complete with no problems. If I encounter more troubles I'll try loading and using a different client, but right now that's not really an option for me, sorry.
